In the morning of Oct 27, the keel-laying ceremony of one GD38000T Bulk Carrier (TK1010) built for foreign owner was held at KASC. Leaders from relevant departments of KASC, owner’s representatives and Class surveyors attended the ceremony and witnessed the positioning of the first block.

This vessel is the first of its series with total 15 units built for one same owner.

The vessel belongs to updated handy size “Green Dolphin 38” series with advanced design and can meet the requirement of improved fuel oil consumption and flexible operation. The vessel also is in compliance with current and anticipated outlet rules of air and ballast water and features low consumption, reliable, flexible operation and easy maintenance.
