In the morning of December 17, the Keel-laying Ceremony for four (4) units of 55500T General Cargo Ship (TK1101-4) built for domestic owner was held. Leaders from Shipyard QC dept, Business Dept and Class Site surveyor attended the ceremony.

The main particulars of the Vessel: Loa: 189.99M; Lbp: 186.5M; Bm: 32.26M; Dm: 18.5M; Design Draft: 11.3M; Scantling Draft: 12.9M; Main Engine: Wärtsilä W5*62. Among them, two is classified with LR, and CCS for another two. The first vessel is expected to be delivered in April 2016.

General Cargo Ship is also named as Multi-Purpose Vessel, which is our shipyard advantage. The sister type of vessel includes the size of 25K, 27K, 32K, 38K, 39K and 55K deadweight. Among them, 55K series is the biggest size, which also signals our fields in General Cargo ship has been scaled up.
