On December 23, one 46 V / 999 P Ro-Pax Ferry (TK0416) (Haitangwan) built for Hainan Haixia was returned back to shipyard after successful sea trial.

The sea trial includes tests of: Working Condition adjustment of Main Engine, Loading Test of Main Engine, Speed test, measurement of shaft power, course stability, torsional vibration measurement, turning test, anchoring test, thrusting test, steering test, stabilizing fin test, function demonstration of Telecommunication and radio equipment etc.

The main particulars of the Ferry: Loa: 123.9M; Bm: 20.5M; Dm: 6.3M; Design Draft: 4.2M; Deadweight: 2500T; Class: CCS.
