Christening of Two Units of 208K BC

On Jan 4 & 6, the Christening Ceremony for two units of 208K BC (1st and 2nd of its series) built for German owner were held respectively. S/Y Chairman, Mr. Wang Junze, General Manager of New facilities, Mr. Cai Aiguo and Party Secretary, Mr. Wang Zhengyu attended the ceremony together with representative from the Owner and Class.
On ceremonies, Godmother, Ms Teng Wenjie and Ms. Catharine Leisu christening these two vessels with name “Helle Oldendorff” and “Hermann Oldendorff” respectively and unveiled the name and stroke champagne to bless her. General Manager of Kouan New Facilities, Mr. Cai Aiguo expressed that this 208K BC is the biggest been built, which indicate the trust from Mr. Oldenforff to our shipyard. Shipyard paid great attention this series of vessels with careful technical preparation and commissioning. It takes exactly two years for shipyard to have the first vessel to be completed on Jan 18, 2016. And the 2nd vessel has been dock-out as well. This achievement is a combination of hard work of all shipyard workers and staffs as well as great support from Owner’s site team, ABS surveyors and various vendors. The Chairman of ship owner, Mr. Henning Oldendorff expressed that cooperation with shipyard is very friendly and delightful, from the solution of commercial issues to detailed technical issues. Both parties tried their best to seek amicable conclusion via frank and straightforward attitude. And hope this good cooperation will continue till the delivery of last vessel and become the pride of both parties finally.
