Christening and Launching of 73M Cable-Laying Vessel (TKG007)

At 2:10 pm of December 6, the Christening Ceremony for 73M Cable-Laying Vessel, built for Zhongchuan Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd was held. Shipyard General Manager, Mr. Guo Chaoyi, Deputy General Manager of HAIYING Enterprise Group Co., Ltd and Chairman of Zhongchuan Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd, Mr. Yu Minhao gave speech on the ceremony. Godmother Ms Tianling christened for “No. 6 Zhongchuan Offshore”. At 3:00 pm, the vessel was successfully launched.

Kouan Shipyard actively devotes herself to the construction of National Defense and army. As the sole shipyard, which is qualified to build both marine and army vessels. Following one big scale ferry, in compliance with national defense requirement, was successfully been built, this 73M Cable-Laying Vessel would be another products in compliance with duel-use requirements.

The Main Particulars of the Vessel: Loa: 73M; Bm: 22M; Dm: 5.5M; Design Draft: 2.5M; Design Speed: 9 Knots, Class: CCS. The propulsion of the vessel is full rotary rudder propeller, and equipped with two Full swing rudder propeller at stern and two bow thruster.
