Another “Kouan-Type” Ro-Pax Ferry delivered to Guangdong Shuangtai

In the morning of July 10, the Quartet Verification for one 50 Vehicle / 999 Passenger Ro-Pax Ferry (MV “Shuangtai 37”) built for Guangdong Shuangtai Group was held. Representatives from Shipyard, Owner, Classification Society and Maritime Bureau jointly signed on relevant documents.
In the afternoon of July 12, the Ferry is successfully delivered along with the signature of relevant delivery documents executed by Shipyard President of Kouan Shipyard, Mr. Wang Junze and Guangdong Shuangtai’s President, Mr. Liu Zhuang.
As known, starting from 2002, there are several batches of Ro-Pax Ferry, e.g. 40 V / 680 P, 50 V / 960 P and 50 V / 999 P have been duly delivered to Shuangtai Group. With the delivery of “MV Shuangtai 37”, all 13 Ro-Pax Ferries now under operation by Shuangtai Group are built by Kouan Shipyard, a good demonstration of “Kouan Made” brand.
The Main Particulars of the Ferry: Loa: 125.70M; Lbp: 119.00M; Bm: 20.91M; Bm: 6.50M; Design Draft: 4.45M; Designed Speed: 13.5 Knots; Class: CCS. The Ferry will be put into operation in the route between Guangdong Hai’an and Haikou after being taking delivery by the owner.
