In the Morning of Sep 20, the Christening Ceremonies for the first and second 76000T Bulk Carrier built for European Owner within KASC’s new facility (Taizhou CATIC) was held. Owner’s Chairman, Mr. Peter Harren, who leads a delegation comprised by more than 20 guests attended the christening ceremony of sister vessels. Shipyard Chairman, Mr. Wang Junze, General Manager, Mr. Chen Jianguo and more than 1000 workers and staffs attended the Christening Ceremony.

These two 76000T Bulk Carrier was the first dual vessels of this type. The main particulars of the vessel are: Loa: 225m; Bm: 32.26m; Dm: 19.5m; Design Draft: 12.2m; Design Draft: 14.5 Knots; Class: GL. These two sister vessel are scheduled to be delivery end of Sep and end of Nov.
